R.I.P to Mr. Steve Jobs
I'm baffled and quieted why some of us survive cancer, while others go. Laid in our laps, the survivors is to me the duty to enjoy life. Worry is no longer an option, nor resentment. Such privilege is best relegated to those who've not walked with death. Responsibilities like doing exactly what is meaningful to the individual, be it painting, playing, enjoying, lifting the spirits of another are no longer negotiable. Seriousness has, at last been abandoned for the duty of ingenuity, fear abandoned for the responsibility of unbridled joy, and insecurity abandoned for freedom to live in full expression of Life. It is short, our time, and at end, may I say, "I have lived fully, felt every emotion, helped where I could, played in example, and loved life with relentless, voracious passion!"

Leaders and Followers
Leaders get put on pedestals and are expected to change things for entire populations. Any one human is going to fail at this. It isn't fair to the leader or the follower, and it isn't loving to either party. I wonder if the time of leader and followers is past. Maybe it's time for each individual to embrace their importance and their inherent ability to change what is right in front of them, their own sense of gratitude, responsibility and love, first for themselves, then family member to family member, friend to friend, lover to lover, neighborhood to neighborhood and country to country. I believe we are our answer I believe responsibility for personal action is required for effective change. Wisdom would ask input from many for each and every one of us, not just a leader, but you and me. I'm not against the idea of leadership. I'm for the idea of personal responsibility to change our worlds into what we would have them be. Does not a single smile bring light? I think individually, and undivided each of us as one will lead.....not followers, but lead ourselves to enlightenment. Walk beside us if you choose, but pray, do not ask me to lead. I make mistakes. I am capable of the best and the worst in humanity, let me only be at your side.

Salt the Soup
If I sense a need for salt in a pot of soup, I put salt in it.
That may sound simple enough, and it is, unless we want get involved in overthinking it.
I don't get mad a various vegetables, meats or seasonings for not giving enough salt.
I don't decide that these components of soup are mean or greedy or that they just don't care.
I don't judge them at all, infact.
I don't point fingers at them and sit in a corner pouting or preaching at their lack of contribution.
I don't waste my time blaming them, after all, I just want to eat the soup.
I put salt in the soup.
I do the same thing when I sense a need in the world.
I put it in.
Take care the use of the word, "but," lest we make asses of ourselves.
Blame never got the job done.
Salt the soup.
